Even though the Canadian 50-cent coin is no longer issued for general circulation, the Royal Canadian Mint still produces 50-cent coins for the collector market every year and maintains all the different finishes on these coins, including circulation, numismatic brilliant uncirculated, specimen, and proof.

The 2007 Canada 50-cent coin with a circulation finish can be found in special wrap rolls and in the annual occasional gift sets, but not in the annual uncirculated sets or the special Vancouver Winter Games coin sets, which instead contain a numismatic brilliant uncirculated 50-cent coin.

Composition: 93.25% steel, 4.75% copper, 2% nickel

Diameter: 27.13 mm

Weight: 6.9 g

Thickness: 1.95 mm

Edge: Reeded

The coin in the pictures is a circulation issue in mint state condition.
