1999-p Canada 50-cent, Test Coin, Circulation

In 1999, the Royal Canadian Mint issued a set of coins from 1-cent to 50-cent, struck on nickel-plated steel blanks to test a new generation of these denominations. Each coin features a “P” mint mark below the effigy of the Queen.
