To commemorate the 125th anniversary of Canada’s Confederation, twelve new 25-cent designs were created - one released each month - honoring the ten provinces and two territories.


November: Saskatchewan – Portrays the vast Prairie landscape, featuring open fields of wheat, grain elevators and a passing freight train. Established in 1905 from the Northwest Territories, Saskatchewan is the only Canadian province without natural boundaries.
