To commemorate the 125th anniversary of Canada’s Confederation, twelve new 25-cent designs were created - one released each month - honoring the ten provinces and two territories.


June: Alberta - Features the striking Willow Creek hoodoos near Drumheller Alberta, a dramatic natural formation sculpted by wind and water over time. These hoodoos, with their distinctive mushroom-like shapes, are a popular attraction in the province’s badlands.
