Two varieties of the 1982 50-cent circulation coin have been identified: the High Relief and the Low Relief. The Low Relief variety is rarer than the High Relief.


The Low Relief version shows up only in coins released for circulation.


Composition: 100% nickel

Diameter: 27.13 mm

Weight: 8.10 g

Thickness: 1.90 mm

Edge: Reeded


The coin in the pictures is a circulation issue in mint state condition.
