1978 Canada 25-cent, Caribou, Large Denticles, Circulation

Two varieties of the 1978 circulation 25-cent coin have been identified. One features the word “CANADA” positioned farther from the rim with 148 small denticles, while the other shows “CANADA” closer to the rim with 120 large denticles.

Please note: only the Large Denticles variety was produced in 1978 Proof-Like and Specimen sets.
